虽然现在通讯发达,随时都能联系到他人,可是偶尔还是会遇到找不到人要委托别人传话的情况。但又应该怎样请求别人帮忙捎信呢?

病人在诉说具体病情时,可说“I have a headache (stomachache, toothache, earache, sore back, sore throat, sore leg, sore eye).(我头疼(胃疼、牙疼、耳朵疼、背疼、喉咙疼、腿疼、眼睛疼)。)”。

分析▲“Excuse me.”通常有引起对方注意的含义,最常使用的场合为请人让路或问路的时候。它与“I’m sorry.”虽同表“对不起。”,但在用法上仍有所差异。“Excuse me.”并不代表自己确实犯错,而使用“I’m sorry.”时一般是自己确实犯了错。相似的口语表达还有:1) Pardon me. 2) Sorry to interrupt you. 3) I hate to bother you.

— You look great! How do you stay in such good shape?
你看起来好棒!你是怎样保持这么好的身材的?

分析▲当看到某人精神抖擞或气色颇佳时,可用此句表达赞赏,听者必定十分喜悦。也可以说:1) You look wonderful!2) You look fantastic!
3I must be going. 我得走了。
— I’ve really enjoyed your party, Lisa. 这次宴会我玩得好高兴噢,丽萨。
— Not at all, Sam. 别客气,山姆。
— I wish I could stay longer, but I must be going. 我真希望能再待久一点儿,但我得离开了。
分析▲我们在朋友家作客,或者是正与人畅谈时,如若突然想起亟待处理的事情,则可说这句话。当然,说的时候要注意语气,不要冒犯到对方。常用的口语表达还有:
1) I’ve got to go now. 2) I’d better get going now.

— Where did you get these peanuts, Mike? 这些花生在哪儿买的,麦克?
