I always insist" that I was not brought up, by. my moth-er, but by my grandma.
I had lived with my grand-ma in 'the countryside until I graduated from the junior middle school. In that period, my parents were doing business inthe town. My father often came back, but I sel-dom saw my mother. I missed her so much that I usually sobbed myself to sleep. I kept asking my father why mum didn't come to see me and the answer was that she had to look after my sick younger, brother. Fortunately, I was the apple of my grandma's eye and she tended me lovingly. I began to study very, hard after my grandma said that I could see mama every day if I entered the No.1 Middle School in the town.
